DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Unsigned Iowa 912 begins at a point just west of the E ¼ Corner NE ¼ of Section 18-T81N-R26W (junction Iowa 141); thence northeasterly and northerly through Sections 18 and 17 to begin county road just south of the NW Corner Section 17-T81N-R26W.

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement 99-TJ-003 between the Iowa Department of Transportation and Dallas County transferred unsigned Iowa 912 to local jurisdiction on July 15, 1999. The official description of unsigned Iowa 912 should be removed from the Primary Road System to reflect this change of jurisdiction.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended to approve removing the description of unsigned Iowa 912 from the Primary Road System.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the relocation of Iowa 141, a section of old Iowa 141 will now be Unsigned Iowa 912.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended to add unsigned Iowa 912 in Dallas County to the Primary Road System, as described in the attachment.

New Description – Unsigned Iowa 912 in Dallas County as follows:

Beginning at a point just west of the E ¼ Corner NE ¼ of Section 18-T81N-R26W (junction Iowa 141); thence northeasterly and northerly through Sections 18 and 17 to begin county road just south of the NW Corner Section 17-T81N-R26W.
